WEPEX (member of adesso group) celebrated its 20th anniversary - in the centre of Frankfurt am Main, with a view of the skyline and in the most beautiful royal weather, in and on the FREIGUT Eventlocation Schiff (at the Eiserner Steg on the Sachsenhäuser Mainufer).
WEPEX Managing Director Dr Frank Thole and his colleagues Arno Radermacher, Oliver Schlicht and Dr Ulrich Meyer (Co-Lead Business Line Banking of the adesso Group) as well as Mark Lohweber (Member of the Executive Board of adesso SE) welcomed around 200 guests.
Founding partner Oliver Hummel and many long-time companions and friends were also warmly welcomed. In addition to exciting presentations and discussions, a magician, motorboat rides on the river Main and keynote speaker Dr Boris Konrad (neurologist and physicist specialising in the human brain and artificial intelligence), multiple world memory champion and three-time participant in "Wetten, dass...?" provided an entertaining supporting programme.
The experts pointed out that WEPEX and adesso are "state of the art" in terms of methodology and technology, but that the focus is always on the human being. Oliver Schlicht emphasised that there is still no suitable AI that takes care of eating and drinking for people - WEPEX therefore provided plenty of cold drinks and refreshments for the guests on this exciting and varied summer evening.
The participants agreed that there was nothing better than watching the sun set over the Frankfurt skyline with a cold drink in your hand in good company, spending the evening with friends and business partners on the water in a relaxed maritime atmosphere with a fresh breeze in your face.
