Business Situation

The client is an integrated asset manager with operations in Germany, the UK and Luxemburg. In these locations, separate systems are used in the Middle and Back Office, which support specific processes that have evolved over the years. Wepex is called to analyse whether these processes can be harmonised, and whether the requirements of each location can be covered on the basis of a common system platform. For this purpose, leading software packages are to be screen for the best fit.

Our Approach

  • Analysis of the current processes in the middle office and back office, with special focus on fund accounting, based on a proven process model for asset management operations.
  • Definition and sign-off of a common, cross-location Blueprint for target processes.
